Has anyone seen the old version of War of the Worlds, from like 1953? lol it\'s a bit old for me, couldn\'t take it seriously But I must say the special effects were really nice made for that time!

yes, sadly they did =/ Bet you know now how some lotr fantast felt when peter jackson made his version of the saga =/
But as from what I\'ve seen from HGTTG(lol) it seems that they are really going to make this tight to the book, which sounds promising, but they you will always be dissapointed at some parts, coz its very hard to make a movie out of a book, as so many people have different images of it.
