That\'s sort of the opposite for me. I can make some pretty complicated things with in UnrealEd. I remember trying to do some things in 3d Studio, but I could never figure things out. Any basic tutorials out there?

Yo Cad, long time no see! However tempting the offer may be, I don\'t think I\'ll work in a mod (or game-related stuff) ever again Tongue or at least not in a few more years. It needs waay too much dedication and sacrifice.

Yeah I\'m still learning the damn thing. However I\'m starting to see it as a simplified version of max with some basic scripting, so you should not have any problems giving the next step. The editor is a lot more powerful than what I had thought at first.

As for tutorials, I don\'t think I know of any, but a good start could be translating what you know of UED into Max so you have a solid reference, then start from there. Basic controls like moving/rotating/scaling, then camera pan, the viewports, simple materials... also simple geometry, shape extrusion etc. After that I\'d just go trying different modifiers to learn what they do; that is, if you don\'t plan to learn everything in a few months
