Quote:Will Reno ever tell us what project Y is?

Yes. Give him time. It doesn\'t even render yet. Doesn\'t do much good at the moment if you can\'t see it.

Quote:Will there be driveable vehicles in game?

To my knowledge the current plan is to include vehicles that your regular Joe Infantryman could drive. So, maybe a jeep, but you are not leaping into a tank and letting all hell break loose.

Quote:What sort of damage system will be used?

A very very impressive one GG wants to publish. Here\'s what I\'ve made public:

Delerium Wrote:allows you to mount another convex collision mesh to any DTS based object, at any time, at any node, and to remove it just as simply. This new collision mesh is its own GameBase derived object, which allows it to have a variety of callbacks. In effect, it is an extremely advanced hitbox. ... how easy it is to get these hitboxes to properly match animations, and also run active collision detection.

Or, in other words, hitboxes on high grade crack and a few other insanely awesome features that use said hitboxes.

Quote:What platforms will the game/mod be available on?

Game, and right now we\'re looking at Mac and PC. Linux may come later. And if it\'s really totally awesome, then there is the possiblity of XBox 360.

Quote:Will the what are you listening to right now thread ever die?

No. Never.

Quote:What will be the minimum system requirements?

Did your computer cost $1,000 or more in 2004? Good, you can probably run TTR. Honestly, we don\'t know. You\'ll need a real graphics card, integrated graphics won\'t do. Must support at least pixel shaders 1.1. Other than that... I\'ll get back to you when GG finalizes the TSE requirements.

For those of you with older hardware, I suggest this. As a current owner of a Flower Power iMac, I can vouch for how well it works.
Quote:Q) Will Stubbs the Zombie run on my flower power iMac?
A) Yes, Stubbs the Zombie will run on your flower power iMac with a few user configurable modifications. First bash open a hole in the right side with a brick. That\'s the right side as you face the CRT. Inside you will find a frightened little hamster in an exercise wheel. First, load up a crack pipe and jam it in his mouth and light it for him. Second, jam a firecracker up his butt and light that. Quickly duct tape the hole shut and fire up Stubbs the Zombie. You are set to go.

Quote:Will I ever shutup?

I don\'t know about you, but I have no intention of shutting up any time soon.

RE: The F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) thread
Just a small note :
Don\'t expect the answers to these questions being answered in this thread. Once the site goes public, it will be on the FAQ page.

Just to clarify Smile

RE: The F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) thread
Yes, I know, I just wanted to have a bit of fun posting answers that, while funny and truthful, probably wouldn\'t make the cut for the official FAQ. Like the one about system requirements. When I first read that it had me going for a few minutes, but you know that no self respecting company puts that in the official FAQ.
