Sad day...
I\'m feeling very sad atm, my pet turtle (whom I\'ve got since I was 6), is probably dieing. She won\'t move a lot, she won\'t eat,... She\'s still alive, but shows little sign of actually being alive.

Sad

RE: Sad day...
I have a water turtle too, though I haven\'t given it a name.
Actually, its my sisters, but she hasn\'t ever looked after it.

Riptor, get your turtle to a vet, I mean, he/she is 17 years old, probably just a bit sick. No way it isn\'t fit enough to fight out a disease. Wink
Good luck!

RE: Sad day...
Be glad (s)he lives as long as he does, most turtles like that die of dehydration and other nifty mistakes waaaay before 17 years.
My guinnea pigs were nearing the 100 years in human years until we got a new one who had a disease. 3 out of 4 (amongst them the new one ofcourse) had their guts exploded inside them.

I managed to save one of the 3 that were dying by giving her mouth to well... nose while driving 80km/h towards a vet. Ofcourse she died later on but she lived for 7 more days though. I had to suffocate the last one cause her death-battle took too long, I was too pansy to snap her neck Confused

The one who survived still is happy with her lettuce and the likes.
The others are burried next to my 2 rabbits that died, one by poison the other by a cat who bashed her head in.

Life\'s a bitch aint it?

Anyways, yes, doctor might do the trick.
