Erm Vips, IBM told Apple that they would have 3Ghz 970\'s by this last summer, which prompted Steve J to make the infamous 3Ghz in 12 months speech.

Otherwise, can\'t tomcat just get a faster P4?

Pff my previous rig was a P4 3.0 HT, it really blowed, didn\'t matter how much ram i rammed into it, even at 2gb of ram, it still gave me problems.

Switched to an AMD 64 bit 3500+ now, and it runs like a kitten now, finally.
Mixed in with some corsair ram and an ati 9800 pro (which i\'ll update in a few months) makes me a happy camper
