Death Traps - I don\'t know the author, but its a ww2 book about tanks

I second that! Heart of Darkness is a frickin\' masterpiece, and everything of Vonnegut is worth your while, especially the 70s stuff.

Smitty: I think \"Thinner\" was the only Bachman book that was written after King got himself a name. All the others were youthful endevours. Still pretty fascinating stuff, though.

And Riptor; You\'ve read the Hitchhikers Guide-books, right?

Douglas Adams will have you screaming your guts out. Its one of the few occasions I?ve wished I actually could slow down my reading tempo and saviour the stuff, cause in places you get like 5 laughs on every page.

Just bought the Davinci Code. Was surprised it\'s more a novel-style book, thought it was something scientific Smile

Yes, starship troopers is a good book. I\'m hoping to pick up eaters of the dead really soon though.

Stranger in a Strange land is sort of wierd. Maybe some other time when I don\'t have to read the whole thing in 3 hours I\'ll read it again.

Eaters of the Dead? That\'s the Crichton\'s book about the Vikings right?

If you read one of his books, pick one that is about something that you are interested in. And only read that one. Otherwise, you will find out that all of his books are [Spoiler!]almost exactly the same with the same characters, and the same story lines![/Spoiler!] Figured that little bit out when I was reading the fourth book by him, and it hit me like a metric ton of bricks!
