I gave regular terminals a shot for a while, but didn\'t like having to alt-F-key back and forth so much, so I compromised and moved back to Xfce, but am trying out an all-terminal environment. It\'s taking some getting-used-to, but pretty much everything can be done just as well, and usually faster, using terminal/curses programs, rather than their GTK+ equivilents. I don\'t know how permenent this is, but it\'s working out well so far. Here\'s a screenie:
