Well, since I know it would come up more and more as we got further into ttr\'s development(reworking weapons, players, objects, etc) I had decided to start teaching myself how to model, unwrap and skin proper.

Its not much really, and I already have depricated this so I\'ll likely go back and redo it making it better, but its not a bad foray I think.

It\'s the sniper rifle from Halo, number 3 specfically.
Lemme know what you think, I\'d be glad to get some critiques on it so I can get better!

Well, I have finally finished the map I started working on almost a year ago today! It has been a real pain in the ass trying to fix all the bugs that I encountered while making this map. Unfortunately, I did not have the time nor knowledge to fix all of the bugs, so there are a few still present, but nothing serious. Here\'s a quick overview of all the bugs I am aware of.

Version 1.1: Bug fixes and changes

* Fixed the doorway bug in the building near the allied spawn.

* Fixed the bsp hole issue that was in the garage.

* The Garage can be capped now.

* Changed the lighting. The map is a bit darker now.

* You can now crawl through the vent in the church.

* Fixed some spelling mistakes.

* Removed the ladder that was inside the church.

*Known issues*

* When in the Church Tower, if you suddenly stop while going up the stairs, just jump to climb over the invisible brush. There is a problem with one of the brushes I used to construct the tower.

* I\'m not sure if this will affect everyone, but if you spectate too high then your game will freeze, forcing you to have to restart TTR. I\'m not sure what causes this problem.

---

These are all the bugs that I\'m aware of as of right now. If you find anymore please email them to me.

---

Since I haven\'t gotten a response from LivingTarget on the hosting situation, I decided to just host it on my own personal webspace for now. I will post a link to the DCLI ftp for the map file later when it is being hosted. Also, if anyone else is able to host my map that\'d be great so let me know. I hope you all like my map!
It\'s about how to render a carlike material in Brazil if you don\'t want to use a high dynamic range image (hdri).

please download it, not watch it in the browser over and over again, it\'s bandwidth expensive
most of you probably won\'t find this usefull or interesting, but for me it\'s a big thing

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you all know about the new TTR map I\'m currently working on. I haven\'t really decided on what objectives of this level will be , but that can be done after all the structures, roads, etc. have been built. I started this project just yesterday, and figured since I\'ve already got some stuff to show, I\'de go ahead and do it. This is not my first map, but will be the first map I will release publically. As far as Cassino, I don\'t think I\'ll be able to finish that due to an error that I mentioned a while ago, that doesn\'t allow the level to be opened. So I\'ve pretty much abandoned my efforts on Cassino, despite the hours I\'ve put into it. My apoligies for the lack of quality in the brightness/ contrast in the shots. I had to go into an image editing program and edit them by hand because they get messed up after I take a screenshot. Well here are the screenshots of my new level, enjoi.

Yo, this is a dragon I rendered (no, the model isn\'t mine, I grabbed it off the web).

The original intent was to work on my Sub-Surface-Scattering skills, which I think went quite well.

The image is build up with 2 passes, the first is the sub-surface-scattering pass, with all the colours, etc. The second pass is the highlight pass wich gives it the shiny effect.

The original render took me over 2 hours to render, and had a 2000x3000 resolution

Hi all, I have recently found a large interest in mapping in Unreal Ed 2.0. So after a few months of gaining some experience with all the functions, I was thinking about creating a new map for TTR 1.3, just for something new. Anyway, I have no idea of what to build, so I thought maybe you guys could give me some ideas/suggestions and/or what you would like to see in a my map. Please give a somewhat detailed description of what you would like, or provide me with some links to where I could get some pictures of an actual battle that took place, and i\'ll do some looking of my own to try to get some ideas. Thanks.

This is what I did a while ago when I was bored.

It\'s 10 seconds, took me two hours to get the lipsyncing close enough.

What I did is I took Alyx from HL2, took the HEV suit voice from HL1 (the one clip, when you put it on). Sorta funny, she sounds like a machine. There\'s no emotions are anything, just starightforward lipsync because I haven\'t figured out how to do emotions.

No, I\'m not on any mod teams. I just got BORED out of my mind.
