Yes. We found that the HamsterWare™ line of graphics cards was the best investment we ever made. They sure are powerful. The only catch is the bugs are hell. Every now and then the HamsterWare™ core gets bored and you wind up with hamster porn on your screen. We\'ve tried adjusting the grade of crack that they\'re powered on, but it doesn\'t seem to make much difference. Because of that, among other reasons (in early tests, the HamsterWare™ card made small children cry), we will not be shipping the HamsterWare™ line of GPUs until such a time that hell freezes over, pigs fly, and Windows has no viruses or security holes.

Anyhow... does this mean I\'m gonna have to adjust the projectiles so that they *can* punch through a few people? Is that something people would like to see? I mean, it\'s an easy enough change, just wondering whether or not that falls under something that would just frustrate people playing a game.

RE: some suggestions
That\'s already bundled in the old TTR, but just depends on the weapon. Kars, for example, can put bullet holes through up to three people in a row (can\'t remember seeing more than three at a time). Anyway, ask Capone about that, or another of the weapon-wise people here. I\'m just the opposite of a weapon expert.

Effect in gameplay? Really none. I can count the moments when someone shooted through more than one person with my left hand, and I mean after 3 years playing. Basically because people doesn\'t use to pack that tight in game and when that happens the chances of having a kar shooting exactly in front of them is pretty low. But it adds those exceptional cool and funny moments while playing. So, it\'s good.

Oh, and I hope you finish HamsterWare before Christmas. I want one! Big Grin

Vista is more focused on games, mainly their Ultimate Edition version.

When you start a game, Vista will recognize that D3D is running and the application is full-screen.
The Desktop GUI will be temporarily replaced by some sort of command console, so Windows isn\'t pumping out 20% to render its desktop.
So your games can have the full 100% core power (except for virusscanners and other programs like TeamSpeak at the background).

You\'ll just notice it\'s more gamer friendly.
But it\'s not of a big deal anyway, it\'s just XP with a security overhaul and some nice thingy\'s.

The new Win32/Vista core is more stable then the older Win32/XP core.

Don\'t shoot the dog, when I\'m wrong. It\'s just something I\'ve read somewhere on MSDN.
My dad has B?ta 1, but dunno if he has B?ta 2... He\'s a member of MSDN.

Oh. Well something has to be the core business of TTR, I\'d say.

Both 32-bit (Win32/Vista) and 64-bit (Win32/Vista).
Though it won\'t work on the Intel Itanium (2) because of the different architecture.

Things that bother me is that DirectX 10 doesn\'t have older DirectX libraries and API\'s.
Thus the older games must be emulated Sad.

Using OpenGL means you\'d have to shutdown WVDDM (Windows Vista Display Driver Model) thus shutting down all fancy effects in the GUI.
Of course most gamers will disable WVDDM by default to get more performance out of the pc, but it\'s still sucky.
