Hmm... At the end of the war the U.S. had the largest and most powerful navy, Britian followed with a close 2nd. The US had the largests class of aircraft carriers. On US vehicles the 50cal was the main machine gun armament.(No wonder its still in use today) From jeeps, planes, tanks, it tore through nearly everything but tiger tank armor.The Germans had some impressive machine guns but again the Soviet main issued machine gun was said to never jam. The Germans definetly had some field worthy tanks but in the end the Soviet T34 was the Red King. The largest tank battle at Kursk should prove that point entirely. Nothing but open fields of infantry and tanks rolling around blasting eachother.
