Darkest Hour: Normandy 1944
Hey guys Smile

I don\'t post here very often anymore but I do check in regularly to see how things are going. Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone was aware of the Darkest Hour mod for Red Orchestra that\'s coming out soon. I have had the opportunity to play the public beta and I must say it\'s a fairly well made mod. TTR has always been the best WWII Infantry game I\'ve ever played, but Darkest Hour left me feeling like I was almost playing TTR again. Of course it\'s still fairly different from TTR because it feels like Red Orchestra (and has Tanks  ) but I am already liking it more than RO (and it\'s still full of bugs). I still am here (and will be) waiting for the release of the new TTR, but I thought this mod was something worth checking out. If you have played it, what do you think of it?

Is RO still a Steam product, or can other users of other OSes enjoy it again?

Unfortunately Red Orchestra is still a steam product. It\'s to bad they haven\'t made it available to others...

It looks like it may be worth checking out, means I would have to install RO again though. That\'ll be fun and time consuming on my slow ass DSL.

Damn Canada for only having one cable provider per province, since the one in Alberta sucks!

I feel for you though Smithcraft, since the only reason I still use PC\'s is because of the software limitations of the Apple OS. I honestly hate Microsofts monopoly on the home OS market, I like my variety!

Heck Goob, it\'s not really any different here. One cable company in a market. So the only competition is in DSL, but I live out in the sticks so DSL is not a good option for me. Sad
