Playing UT or INF maps in Reich 1.3

Hi there
i was wondering if there is a way to play normal UT maps or inflitration maps in third reich. if anyone can help that would be great

Bah! Those maps have no place in TTR, but if you really wanted to, I suppose you could just place them into the TTR maps folder, and put the prefix TTR- infront of the map title... But why would you want to play such maps in TTR?

well theres quite a few infiltration maps that would work well with TTR plus theres a a couple of WWII style UT maps out there.
With the TTR install i got there was only 6 maps and two of them dont work.

ok tried changing the prefix to TTR. sadly it doesnt work. for UT maps it loads and you can choose which side but not what role. The same thing goes for infiltration maps.
does anyone have any other ideas?

Oh yeah, oops. You need to go into Unreal Ed and add TTR_LevelInfo into the map, which allows TTR roles to be used. Forgot to mention that.

ahh right, well i think i\'ll give it a miss then. shame as i really like the game mechanics, just not enough maps

There should be more than 6 maps, which install did you use?

i downloaded the following
ttr beta 1_1_win
ttr beta1 (the installer 1.1 to 1.2)
ttr patch 1.2 to 1.3 with map pack

i got 7 maps in total,
Marketgarden ( doent work)
Himmelsfarht (doesnt work)
Radar
Longest day
Navarone
St-lo
Das boot
Brindisi

You shouldn\'t be getting any problems with MarketGarden and Himmels if you installed the latest map pack.

Edit:

Now that I look at your post again, it appears you don\'t have the map pack installed. If you did, you would also have these maps:

TTR-Merkers
TTR-Beseiged
TTR-Neuen
TTR-Merderet

TTR has plenty of maps, there could be more, but it\'s nothing to complain about.
