well it\'s available, just not via microsoft update or in their download center, seems they ran into compatibility issues with Windows XP customers who also run Microsoft\'s Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS), a software package for running retail stores.

its just like all the other service packs... cumulative fixes for all the millions of hot fixes they\'ve released since SP2, with a few tweaks on top... because its all been coded together it should work better... but then this is Microsoft so probably not...
