EA is such a franchise company. They ride on things like the Sims, MOH, James Bond, and such (though Sim games aren\'t bad, still made by Maxis).
So essentially, they are saying that their rehashed, 1 line recoded, 1 extra feature based-on-a-frachise expansion is better than something original and will totally murder indie devs. EA needs to die. Seriously. They are right though. They\'ve been in the industry too long and have a grip on unknowledged casual gamers. Even if EA\'s games are play and throw away, they do seem to have that going well for them. Of course, I support indie game devs like you guys all the way. Perhaps, when TTR: T comes out, EA will be totally \"Oh Snap, why didn\'t we ever think of that?!\". And they\'ll collapse and die out ![]() |
