As I understand it, and I never hear otherwise until now, the SS doctors and their "experimentations" on concentration camp inmates were totally and utterly worthless as medical documentation. They were basically sadistic tests of bodily reactions to electricity, cold water, boiling water, fire, surgery and other obviusly painful and harmful procedures.

Well, one experiment was putting people from warm temperatures into freezing cold temperatures aimed at seeing the bodies reacted and was used to help develop airsuits to help downed pilots survive in the sea, wether they were successful i have no idea, but its a pretty horrific experiment non-the-less
Yeah I\'ve heard about that one, but I believe the airsuit story is just a way to make it sound less inhumane. From what I\'ve heard, they threw people who stood naked in the blistering cold for hours in boiling water, killing most instantly. Very little scientific value in that.
