The mg42 was using much superior technology then the M2HB. The Mg42 was much more suited for WW2 warfare. The M2hb yeah it did have a nice big bullet but it wasnt really mobile. I dont really know how accurate it was but i do know that the german mg\'s were really accurate. Theire rof was also very high.
