Let me use a few numbers for explaining the technical advances.
The Germans at the beginning of the war were at about a 5. By the end of the war they were at about 8 (out of 10). The americans started the war at about a 4. At the end they were at 10. The russians started out at about 3 and ended about 9. Btw, it\'s a common misnomer that Russia just sent massive waves of people at the enemy. When they weren\'t holding on for all they could at stalingrad, they actually employed brilliant tactics. Plus even at stalingrad, it wasn\'t the human waves that won it. It was the surrounding of the second german army in an INCREDIBLE move. |
