RE: Status?
Well, when i say terrain, and all 50 square miles of Hurtgen, i\'m not saying it in the way we know it now.
I\'m saying it\'s *all* 50 mi?, in one, massive map.
Think something like Oblivion, but 0 load times, and you\'ll start to get the idea Wink

RE: Status?
I'm awesome.

Big Grin

Anyway, this is a lot of work for these guys. One of the biggest things needed for TTR is modeling.

In Unreal, all the maps could be made in the Map editor. You\'d lay out the terrain, and then you\'d create the buildings in the editor. Difficult, but useful.

In Torque, it\'s much more difficult. There is no real way to create objects, just place them. Therefor, any building you see on a map, needs to be created and skinned outside of the game. Any city on the map is an assload of work. Streets need to be created, as well as every building.

So if you want to help out the team, learn how to model or practice your skinning abilities. I\'m sure that Reno will divy out individual buildings to be modeled or skinned just on a case by case basis.
