Question - Delirium_ - 10-30-2005 09:03 PM Hey I\'m looking for the name and /or pics of the award some Wehrmacht, SS or Heer got during the war... I looked for it online but haven\'t found it. Basically it\'s a metal plaque which hangs from a chain like a bracelet. Basically what this chap has around his neck: As fast as possible reply please RE: Question - isoFlux - 10-30-2005 10:24 PM Here is a screenshot from Stalingrad: I can\'t make out what it reads on the front, but it starts with \"Feld\". I have no idea what it means/does, I just remembered it in the movie and took a screenie Sorry I couldn\'t be of more help. RE: Question - Albert Wesker - 10-30-2005 10:47 PM @iso, thats a sign of the German feldgendarmerie, I believe they are field police, they picked up lost soldiers and arrested deserters. EDIT: here you can find more of those so called Gorget\'s. RE: Question - Delirium_ - 10-30-2005 10:49 PM As far as I can remember it\'s a special kind of reward or whatever. I don\'t know for sure but for some reason either \"veteran\" or \"bravery\" comes into mind. I searched \"feld\" but no... we used to talk about it when I was on the team though so someone should know. RE: Question - Albert Wesker - 10-30-2005 11:02 PM Hmmm well, the website Axis History doesnt mention those gorgets as awards, i think they were more used as identification, for example the Feldgendarmerie. Wesker RE: Question - Delirium_ - 10-30-2005 11:20 PM I don\'t see it on the page at all But at least I have the name so now google can do his work. Gorgots it is... thanks |
