TTR Files - death to the unofficial TTR server! - shift - 09-27-2005 11:46 PM
I\'ve decided to change the FTP server to an HTTP based File Dowloading system. This new thing is named TTR Files and can be found here by now.
It has all the files that were in the FTP server, plus some additions, like the last Open GL drivers or all the TTR updates since 1.0 (for the nostalgics and to be able to replay the clan matches demos), and a full 1.3 package compiled by Wesker, that is fixed and with all the maps. Install that over a fresh UT and you\'re ready to play.
The only thing that is out is the TTR 1.3 standalone. Anyway, you can already get it from the DCLI site, same as before.
I hope you don\'t mind this change and enjoy the TTR files there as always.

I think its a great idea, much more user friendly then a ftp server.

Meh, you\'re right, Heinkel.
The cluster my site is at has being up and down like a kangoroo all the weekend.
I guess that tomorrow everything will go back to the usual smoothness... or not.
