I think a high quality chemical burn would do the job.
I.E. Put water on it then quickly dump lye on it before it has a chance to react.

The guy who wrote this is obviously fairly intelligent and definately creative, but I think its slightly low of him to prey on the stupidity of others, and basicly swindle them out of $11100.

Not really Pun, im well aware that this is just one moderate example. The main thing with this is the amount of attention it has got, BECAUSE it is so unbelievably silly, and yet still people bid.
