I can make some pretty complicated things with in UnrealEd. I remember trying to do some things in 3d Studio, but I could never figure things out. Any basic tutorials out there? However tempting the offer may be, I don\'t think I\'ll work in a mod (or game-related stuff) ever again or at least not in a few more years. It needs waay too much dedication and sacrifice. However I\'m starting to see it as a simplified version of max with some basic scripting, so you should not have any problems giving the next step. As for tutorials, I don\'t think I know of any, but a good start could be translating what you know of UED into Max so you have a solid reference, then start from there. Basic controls like moving/rotating/scaling, then camera pan, the viewports, simple materials... also simple geometry, shape extrusion etc. After that I\'d just go trying different modifiers to learn what they do; that is, if you don\'t plan to learn everything in a few months RE: so I started making a map - NoXious - 06-28-2006 05:21 AM hehe, worth a try.... dont have to be that dedicated you know as most of us are either working or have college so its a side project thing . So man how have you been? |
