Yeah I know them. Mostly through girl-friends of mine who are in their mid-teens. (Yes I\'m almost 23 and I have those. Whadaya gonna do :roll: ) They\'re nuts for HIM, and think Ville Valo is the hottest man since our kind left the African steppes, and I mock them for it. Psh, emo\'s, don\'t tell me...

and, it\'s not the lyrics that diturmin what kinda music is what, it\'s the playing style, and the use of instruments/voice.

Lyrics also help determining genres imho. That is the reason why i consider the slower opeth song\'s still Death metal. Perhaps more a Death metal powerballad but still Death.
