RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - shift - 11-17-2005 12:25 AM 4th in the movies-only top list (with just 80 votes while Serenity had 727...) RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - Gego - 11-17-2005 01:09 AM I would vote for the outer limits but can\'t RE: RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - =D.C.L.I=Everest - 11-17-2005 02:01 AM Gego Wrote:I would vote for the outer limits but can\'tOkay, I could go along with that. Outer Limits kicked ass, but I wouldn\'t say it\'s sci-fi per se. I want to like it without having to admit I\'m into sci-fi, okay? Sue me! RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - The_Punisher - 11-17-2005 03:02 AM You know it. BTW, I really wouldn\'t count Firefly / Serenity as a sci fi film. It\'s more of a Western... That happens to take place in space. RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - Big-Al - 11-17-2005 04:04 AM Bad selection, where is the alien saga? I vote ALIENS RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - viper - 11-17-2005 04:08 AM Where is Space: Above and Beyond? Bah stupid polls! And for that matter; Space: 1999 RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - shift - 11-17-2005 04:23 AM Yeah, the top list is pretty weird. I already miss Red Dwarf there. But no Foundation series is a worse sin. And, absolutely right, Pun. Just watched the Firefly TV series a few days back (not the movie yet) and, man, that\'s a western with just some scifi touches. Problem is I don\'t like westerns, and the series aren\'t THAT good after all (some witty dialogs and escenes, yes, but...) So, nobody likes FarScape here? Nobody CORNISH, I mean? RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - =D.C.L.I=Everest - 11-17-2005 05:14 AM Futurama? RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - isoFlux - 11-17-2005 05:34 AM Yea, Foundation needs to be on there. Period. Some Larry Niven, too, like Lucifer\'s Hammer or Footfall. Too bad polls usually suck like that. RE: The World\'s Best Space Sci-Fi Ever - The_Punisher - 11-17-2005 06:08 AM If you didn\'t like the series, you need to get to a head shrink ASAP. It\'s very well put together, with superb graphics and story lines... |
