Windows crash edition...
If you have the choice, get either 98SE or xp/2000, but not crappy ME

I dunno, I just wanted a backwards compatibility computer for dos games and so on. I even have 98SE here, but is it really better then winME? I\'ve heared this before btw.

i upgraded my old laptop from 98SE to ME.... within a month id uninstalled ME..... it doesn\'t even support IR!!!!

Oh and it also took twice as long to boot and also crashed a hell of alot more.

Clearly not built for gaming, but as long as it runs UT, GTA3, and Q3 I\'m happy. During the school year I mostly use the computer for watching movies or reading ebooks (yay no one cares about intellectual property), so it serves its \"primary\" purpose
