the paper was....interesting, though it depresses me the he still passed. that would raise a question if the techer knows how to teach, or if there where pity points invloved Wink
the handwriting of the teacher seems very sophisticated too...
Now that you point it out, I noticed it aswell when I looked at it again just now. Especially in the comment at the end... It looks a bit fake.
Everest, anything below a C grade isn\'t passing.

Also, at most schools, 61% is failing.

Short content analysis let me to believe that it is in fact American
notion of \"contributed a lot of things to our culture... Lenny Kravitz\" \"his love for the New York Yankees\" notion of \"dr Dre\"
All signs that point to an American culture and point of view.

Plus the grading system is typically American Tongue
It also fits in pretty well with the culture over here in most urban areas.
Are you sure ?, I thought young people in your urban areas where into Elton John ( I believe he\'s ranked nr 1 atm in uk charts Tongue), cricket or polo.
Could I be that wrong ? 8)

Okay, let\'s clear out some confusion to begin with: I\'m not saying \"Americans are stoopid\". I was making a comment on the quirky American educational system, of which the paper is a fine example. Over here, you\'d get a 0 for something like that. I\'ve had the privilege to study in the European as well as the American system, and the differences are remarkable to say the least. From that experience, I can safely assume that the essay is written by an American.

And Gof\'s argument is pretty valid too Tongue
