Actually I\'m dead serious. Asking about elegance on a forum where you know the question will evoke immature, dumb, or plain nonsensical reactions, is as far away from elegance as you could possibly get. You should\'ve known better, J.

But really, it was my opinion. It was not a joke. If you understand the obvious sarcasm then you will see.

I find \":roll:\" and \":nag:\" very crude and immature, the absolute opposite in my mind of grace.

I do remember JR ranting about those smilies on the old forums, on more than one ocassion.
But to me elegance is every where. It\'s the way the wind subtly moves a plant, its the look a lover gives to another, its anything thats so small you might miss it, but once noticed can make a world of difference.

Maybe the reputation feature should be replaced with a \"maturity level of post\" feature.
Quite a bit old, but the design and integration of the Apple Macintosh IIci, has always been a favorite example of elegance to me. Exceptional design work. Nothing in the way of anything.
