And how much is this gonna cost? I bet way too much to make planes with, let alone bodies of cars. (unless you want a lada to cost more than a mercedes)

However, if it IS used in planes to replace flaps and adjust to different weather conditions, you could easily sabotage it by simply giving the right pulses at the right places, to an extent at wich the plane becomes unflyable.
Then you\'re screwed by your own \"revolutionary\" technology...

Also, since its partially chemical (as far as i understanded from the brief overlook on the text i did) you could easily ruin the material with certain chemicals. Some paints could already be harmfull.

I stamp it as terrorism bait, personally...
First it will ofcourse have some problems but still this is an important discovery.
