I like this idea its cool, it would add something special to TTR in an already flooded market of WWII games
Yeah, the STG44 thing is really really starting to bug me. There are a bunch of maps it should not be on. Especially those from late 44 and earlier.
I think the main thing to look into is how realistic is this game going to be? Last word we had from that said the dreaded words \"balancing\" and \"for gameplay\'s sake\". Last I was on the team we were going to do nifty stuff -but could get niftier- which has been abandoned??
nice to see you about del, i guess a lot of your questions will be answered in the not so distant future i hope
What I\'m suggesting is that the STG is taken out, and in it\'s place put the MG42 for most maps.

I think that\'s more then fair for the Axis, what do you think?
Plus the occasional rare weapon Tongue
Maybe it\'d be a cool little mutator, where everyone gets randomized weapons at the start of a map, and can only \'change\' weapons by picking up weapons on the battlefield. I mean in real life they didn\'t get to exactly choose their weapons. And once in a while you\'d get stuck with the G1, kinda like russian roulette
I don\'t think that\'s such a good idea, andius: people might die deliberately to get one of the special weapons. Just my 0,02.
i liked the idea with map specific weapons depending on the location of the map, but then this is a specific campaign so i guess there wont be many different locations
This is for TTR:T, right?

It\'d be great to have all these cool unique weapons, because all WW2 games are too standard to a T atm.

Allies have Garands, M1 Carbine, Tommy, BAR, 30cal; Axis comes to invade with K98k, G43, MP40, MG42 and the occasional StG44.

DoD is lucky to have some variety with adding the M3A1 and the FG rifles, along with the MG34.
